Getting Fresh on Cooking with Coryanne

March, 2013 · By Coryanne Ettiene

Last month I gave you a first look at my new iFood.TV show Cooking with Coryanne, and today I am especially excited to announce the series is now live and bursting with fresh ideas for spring entertaining. Prior to filming, I spent the week in a kitchen bursting with Meyer Lemons, Clementines and Celery, testing and tasting to bring you my all time favorite spring recipes using the freshest of ingredients thanks to the green thumb heros at Duda Farm Fresh Foods.  When they asked me to create a celery smoothie,  I nearly fell on the floor….if you know me, you know that green smoothies don’t really get my exited, but trust me, this smoothie is every bit as moorish as any other smoothie that has ever touched my lips.  But the “icing on the cake” was by far the Meyer Lemon Victoria Sponge cake.  Not only because I finally took the plunge and decided that I could master baking on TV, but also because swapping my all time favorite berry compote with a Meyer lemon compote created my new favorite cake.

Before you tune into the full series, whip up a light snack, trust me watching it is hungry work…proof of which is found in how many times I crunch, munch and sip throughout the series.  These Asian Chicken Celery Bites are a great place to start, just click on the video below to get started.  I had so much fun creating this series, I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed filming it.  Watch the full series by clicking here.
