By now you know me…I wear my heart on my sleeve, I work hard, play harder, and when the two meet in the kitchen I am in my element. Put me in the kitchen with a handsome man and some power tools and one might think I am on the verge of a kitchen renovation….but not this time darlings, I am simply making a three course meal with a tool belt of Craftsman Tools and the ever fabulous Rob North, a Master Craftsman.
Last week I found myself learning the fundamentals of power tools and how they can manipulate a carrot that only a farmer’s wife could match, to say that I am a convert to the catch phrase “Every tool is for cooking, you just need to know how to use it” is an understatement. I have spent the last 3 months playing with power tools in my kitchen, so much so that I now have a drawer full of them right next to my tea cups, because frankly darlings, why simply marinate a steak when you can hammer it? Why prick a potato when you can pin punch it? And why let Rob North and his Craftsman friends have all the fun with power tools?
