Cherry Syrup Recipe
July, 2015 · By Coryanne Ettiene
I’m simply gaga for cherries right now, and when cherry season hits, everything in my kitchen gets a cherry make over – especially our summer drinks. What’s not to love about a little dabble-do-you of homemade cherry syrup? The ideas are endless, but our family favorite is to jazz up our lemonade for a sour sweet ice cold refresher.
When cherry season first hit our house, we made batches and batches of this really simple cherry syrup. One for the fridge that quick honestly, was used within days, and the other for the freeze, that was, as you can guess, quickly thawed and used just as quickly. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have noticed that putting these photos together for Stemilt was a family affair with little Xander right there adjusting the cherries…or as I saw it, eating them in between shots. If you missed all the behind the scenes actions, check it out here.
I recently shared this homemade cherry syrup recipe on the Stem, the Stemilt blog, get the full recipe here and many more of my cherry recipes by clicking over to the Stem Blog. If you love cherries, you don’t want to miss a single recipe. Cheers to cherry season, hope that your summer is just as sweet as this simple recipe for Cherry Syrup.
